Day 4 - Barossa Valley
At leisure to take in all the Barossa Valley has to offer or add our favorite Barossa day tour (additional cost):

With this Barossa Valley day trip, you travel through the scenic Torrens Gorge to the Barossa Valley. This tour may include winery and destination visits such as Peter Lehmann Winery, Torbreck, and Menglers Hill look out. Stop at a local cheese maker, enjoy lunch al fresco or at Vintners just out of Angaston. For food lovers, a visit to Maggie Beer Farmshop is a must. Alternatively, the tour may return direct or via the Adelaide Hills with a visit through Hahndorf to enjoy a taste of the regions highlights.

Day 5 - Adelaide - Kangaroo Island
Private transfer to Adelaide airport and flight to Kangaroo Island. Spend the next two nights on Kangaroo Island. With twenty-one national and conservation parks covering more than thirty per cent of the Island's total area, Kangaroo Island has enormous appeal for those that enjoy discovering wildlife in their natural surroundings.

Kangaroo Island (known locally as ‘KI’) is considered by many to be the best place in Australia to see the most native animals in their natural habitat. Nowhere else in Australia is there such a concentration of spectacular landscapes, unique wildlife, pristine beaches and wilderness as there is on Kangaroo Island. Dramatic coastal scenery and secluded pristine beaches make KI a must-see destination, along with premium fresh seafood and other food products. KI is Australia’s third largest island and at 155 kilometres long and 55 kilometres wide, it’s seven times the size of Singapore!

Dining at Southern Ocean Lodge is both a dynamic delight for the senses and a true gastronomic journey of Kangaroo Island.

230pm Coastal Clifftop Walk
A scenic guided walk starting right on the Lodge doorstep atop the limestone cliffs of Hanson Bay. Stand on the bluff, look out to sea and realise there is nothing but ocean between here and Antarctica. Experience and learn about local flora, fauna and coastline ecosystems. Tip – A photographers dream!

4pm Discover Island Heritage
This informative visual presentation hosted by resident naturalist staff provides insight into the Island's discovery and natural history as well as giving an overview of its many spectacular attractions.

530pm Kangas & Kanaps
Soak up the history of the early island settlers at Grassdale, a historic island property reached by a short drive from the Lodge and where local wildlife including kangaroos and wallabies congregate to graze. Observe these creatures in their natural environment, sip on premium South Australian beverages and nibble on a canap whilst enjoying the sunset.

From 7pm Dinner in the Restaurant at your leisure
Dinner is a decadently refined menu, showcasing the region’s finest produce, served with excellent South Australian wines. Should you prefer, the well stocked walk-in cellar is yours to explore.

Day 6 - Southern Ocean Lodge, Kangaroo Island

This half day signature experience is a spectacular introduction to KI’s wildlife, maritime heritage and stunning coastal landscapes. Cape du Couedic lighthouse, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and a fur seal colony are just some of the trip highlights.

Return to the Lodge for lunch in the Restaurant overlooking the cinematic vista of Hanson Bay.

2pm Seal Bay
Seal Bay is home to Australia’s third largest colony of Australian sea lions. Join our naturalist guide for an exclusive tour on the beach with these wild animals. Learn about their unique breeding cycle and the ongoing research programs implemented on site. A privilege unique to KI

Day 7 - Kangaroo Island - Adelaide
This morning at your leisure. Enjoy some unstructured leisure. Wander down the boardwalk to the beach, hop on a mountain bike or retreat to the Southern Spa (Treatment charges apply)

Transfer from southern Ocean Lodge to Kingscote and your short flight back to Adelaide. Upon arrival in Adelaide, private car transfer to the Mayfair hotel.

ACCOMMODATION - Style, elegance and a touch of glamour comes to Adelaide with the arrival of the city's newest five star boutique hotel. Day 8 - Adelade - qualia, Hamilton Island - qualia
This morning you will be collected for your private car transfer to Adeliade airport and your flight to Hamilton Island. Day 12 - qualia, Hamilton Island - Sydney
Flight to Sydney. Upon arrival private car transfer to the award winning Shangri-La, Sydney.

Sydney is Australia’s largest and most famous city. Think of the World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House and its ingenious shape, like billowing white sails, and the impressive steel arch of the Harbour Bridge. The blue waters of the harbour and the white sands and curling waves of Bondi Beach will also come to mind. A temperate climate makes Sydney spectacular at any time of the year. Return to Sydney by way of Featherdale Wildlife Park, with a chance to cuddle up to a koala or feed the baby wallabies.   • Boutique Harbour Lunch Cruise
    Depart Circular Quay to commence a scenic lunch cruise. Your personal host will share the rich history of Sydney Harbour and its foreshore as you take in the sights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and the bays and coves of Sydney Harbour.
